It's starting, themusic is in the air and the excitement is in the walk! The Sasktel SaskatchewanJazz festival starts today, Friday June 25th and continues withmusic, dancing and partying until Sunday, July 4th, 2010. Are youready?
Tonight, at the backof the Bessborough Hotel, in the gardens (my favorite place to dance) thefestival will start up with the Powder Blues Band and Downchild Blues Band. WOW!The blues will be floating, in the air, right along the riverbank. Across theBroadway Bridge, at the Broadway Theater, Maurice Drouin will be entertainingwith parisienne flair! Around the corner at Amigo's, the Groove Series willstart with Moreland & Arbuckle. Down at the Bassment, home of jazz inSaskatoon, Jive Daddy & the Mambo Kings will be heating up the place. LikeI said, "Are you ready?"
